Janine Graf lives and works in Zürich. She is an independent textil designer who is specialised in surface design, such as on textiles, paper, architecture and ceramics. She mainly works for interior companies. Besides the commissional work, her heart beats for small independent projects. She not only sees herself as a designer but also as a manufacturer who develops products beginning with a sketch and ending with the finished product.
Her passion is to develop illustrations, ornaments and patterns with analoge technics. She has taught future textile designers at the Zürich School of Art and Design and since 2008 she now teaches at the Lucern School of Art and Design.
